Mutt Strutt 26th July 2009
Well the rain did not stay away but it didn't dampen anyones spirit and people turned up for the walk from as far afield as York & Chester . The final count hasn't been done yet but it look like being just over £800 which will be split equally between Nowzad & The Manchester & Salford Branch RSPCA.
Thanks to everyone who helped out on the day, thanks to James Wellbeloved for donating the fabulous goodie bags, thanks to Reg & Ruby for donating 2 raffle prizes and to My PetStop Denton for donating a free swim for the raffle.

Yorkshire Bouncers, Olivers Mount, 18/19 July 2009
Had a fab time in Scarborough as always Tony was organised with the pitches and we
had a great site. Team Sutton soon earnt royalty status with their fab tent and the
royal pooches seemed to approve too. Open was on the Sat and I came back from judging
Division 3 to find my car and tent covered in balloons so thanks everyone for that
it was a lovely surprise. Carol did stirling work on the box with Queen Nicky on
the line which was great for me as I'm so busy swapping between the Ts I don't get
to see how the team all runs. Trish was a fab T holder, I ended up running the Ts
as 1st & 3rd with the Kelly's shouts of "QUICK" ringing in my ears which soon turned
to "SLOW DOWN" as my changes were quicker than Diesel's runs (sub 5secs!!). We lost
in spectacular (and hilarious) fashion with the last race going to 5 races and a

Starters was on Sunday and as I had to leave early I left it in Nicky's capable hands, who no doubt soon wished I hadn't as there were a few organisation issues in the running of the starter divisions! So a massive thank you to HRH Nicky from me and everyone else and the team secured a fantastic 4th place despite the doubting Thomases (aka Carol & Suzy on Jasper's and Badger's abilities). Well done guys I'm very very proud of you all.
Cheshire Set, Ryecroft Farm, 4/5 July 2009
What a fab weekend! Firstly Starters on Sat, a massive thank you to Tony who organised the starters as I was still on holiday. We borrowed two dogs Eric (Grasshoppers) and Tearliah (Dolphins) so thank you to Rachel and Bridget. Our dogs all improved in confidence Lilly & Trish got to grips with the lights as lead dog, Smudge looked every inch the confident dog, and Badger did improve throughout the day despite pulling a few “Badgers”! The team unexpectedly managed to win one race which was fantastic with an ace new time of 26.82.
Open on Sunday went really well although we lost the first 3 races (albeit winning a leg) we won the last two of the division. Although the last race was a bit sticky as we lost the first two legs as Kelly didn’t do her infamous “Kelly Hip Swivel” to guide Bruno into the lane. Toffee replaced Bruno with a solid as per usual run and we won the 3rd with Bruno back in superbly taking us back to win 3/5.
It was Diesel’s first open and Nicky really shouldn’t have had a sleepless night as he did brilliantly, so too did Mila and Treacle who as always did everything we asked of them and so much more. Finally thanks to the following Nicky for being the T’s handler, Georgian for collecting the balls, showering the dogs and soaking me with water!! A big thank you to Trish who made a special trip for moral support and was on the line for us, and a massive thank you to Suzy who came and boxloaded for us staying for the last races even though it made her late for dinner.
Well done everyone I’m very proud of you all humans and especially dogs

Dolphins, Eastham, 1 Aug 2009
It was a good day with the weather staying fin. Lilly's first Open and despite Trish's doubts Lilly proved she was worthy. Treacle & Toffee clearly remembered they used to be Bytes as the only time they faulted was when they were racing them. Maybe they got nobbled by Jo! We were thrilled with 4th place. Massive thank you to Louise from the Dolphins for boxloading. Our Starter team Who Paws Paras was a collaberation (despite what Steve says) with the Dolphins and it was certainly entertaining! We managed an hilarious fastest time of 56 seconds!
